I am so excited that I have so many knitting projects lined up. Getting ready for the fall and for the upcoming craft fairs is always a fun time. My latest one that I am working on now is pictured below. I'm making a hat from a new yarn that I haven't tried before, Loops and Threads "Woolike," an acrylic/nylon blend. I really like the feel of this yarn, because even though it is made of acrylic it doesn't have that "plastic" kind of feel to it. I have been trying to avoid acrylic yarns because of that, but I saw this one and thought I would try it, and so far so good. The hat feels super soft and light, and is going to be perfect for the fall. I finished the ribbed pattern for the brim, and now I am working in a seed stitch for the top. I am hoping to finish sometime in the next day or so. The next project after that will be socks for a friend of mine who has asked me to make her some.

This is the yarn I am using for my hat. |

I like to make a longer brim so that it can be folded over for extra comfort and warmth,or if unfolded it can make the top of the hat look slouchy. |

Stay tuned for the finished product! |
